The leading tech giant Google has now added one more feature to its social network Google+. It is named as Google+ communities. The feature is very much similar to Facebook Groups that lets the users join groups of random people with common interests.
This new feature will support both private and public memberships. With this users get a huge spectrum of categories to have better conversations. Members from the communities can also access Google+ Hangouts. This feature lets the user share content with community members through +1 button from Web. Google announced that it has more than 500 million users in Google+ out of which total 235 million use Google products actively and 135 million remains active in Google+ stream each month.
All these activeness make the Google+ a faster rising social network worldwide, but it still needs fortune to compete with Facebook as per the number of users. However, Google is not in mood to compete with Google+. It is just trying to find a good way out for gaining more user data to enhance the search volumes and improved businesses.
Starting from December 6, Google has started using Google+ communities.
